Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of this website.
1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the website at mdsecurityandpatrol.com, operated by MD Security & Patrol. By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the site.
2. What this website is
This website describes the security services we offer and gives you a way to get in touch with us. The information on it is provided for general information only. It is not professional security advice, and it is not a threat assessment or a security plan for your particular circumstances.
You should not act, or decline to act, on the basis of anything on this site without speaking to us or another qualified professional about your specific situation.
3. The website is not a services agreement
Nothing on this website is an offer to provide security services, and submitting an enquiry through the contact form or telephoning us does not create a contract between us.
Security services are provided only under a separate written agreement signed by both parties, which sets out the scope of work, the number and type of officers, the schedule, the fees and the terms that apply. Where anything on this website conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails.
Descriptions of our services on this site are general. The staffing, equipment, licensing and procedures applicable to your engagement will be those set out in your agreement with us.
4. Acceptable use
You may view, download and print pages from this website for your own use or for the internal use of your organisation in evaluating our services. You agree that you will not:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these terms
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information through the enquiry form
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on, or any connected system
- Introduce any virus, malware or other harmful code
- Interfere with the operation or availability of the site, including by automated scraping or attack
- Reproduce, republish or redistribute the content of this site commercially without our written permission
5. Intellectual property
The content of this website — including text, page design, layout, graphics and the MD Security & Patrol name and logo — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws. Photographs on this site are used under licence from their respective owners.
Company and brand names mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners and are referred to for identification only.
6. Third-party links and content
This site contains an embedded map supplied by Google and may contain links to other websites. We provide these for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability or practices of any third-party site or service, and a link does not imply that we endorse it. Your use of a third-party site is governed by that site’s own terms and privacy policy.
7. No warranties
This website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties or representations of any kind, express or implied, about the site or its content, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We take care to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error-free, or that the site will be available without interruption or free of harmful components.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MD Security & Patrol and its officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, this website — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability or otherwise, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. This section does not affect the terms of any separate security services agreement between us, which governs our liability for the services we perform.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MD Security & Patrol and its officers, employees and agents against any claim, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of this website.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, and our use of cookies and similar technologies is described in our Cookie Policy. Both form part of these Terms of Use.
11. Changes to the site and to these terms
We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of this website at any time without notice. We may also revise these Terms of Use from time to time. The version published on this page is the version that applies, and the “last updated” date above shows when it last changed. By continuing to use the site after a change, you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms of Use and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
